Are you ready to provide our guests with an unforgettable day on our luxury yacht the Gold Seahorse? On several days of the week we sail to Klein Curacao and on Thursday, Friday and Saturday we organize an unforgettable Sunset Cruise.
We are looking for an experienced Chef de Cuisine who will provide expertise, management, and oversight of all day-to-day culinary operations. Responsibilities include overseeing daily menus, dietary needs, on-the-job training, food safety, inventory management and cost control.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and serve a variety of dishes, from appetizers to delicious main courses.
Design and update menus that complement the luxury yachting experience, with a focus on local and international flavors.
Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen, ensuring all health and safety standards are met.
Manage inventory and coordinate with suppliers to ensure all necessary ingredients are on board.
Provide excellent customer service with a friendly and approachable attitude.
Collaborate with the crew to provide an exceptional dining experience for guests.
Help with inventory management, including receiving and storing food supplies.
Adhere to all safety and sanitation standards.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a chef.
Strong work ethic and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Flexibility to work long hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
Team player with a positive attitude and strong communication skills.
Fluent in English; additional languages (e.g., Dutch, Papiamentu, Spanish) are a plus.
