This grand national celebration in Bonaire features a thrilling daytime sailing competition and a lively nighttime festival. Sailors from across the Caribbean, of all ages and classes, come to compete in this exhilarating 4-day event.
The sailing races take place in front of Playa, with courses set between the main island of Bonaire and Klein Bonaire. This year, most races will be held between these two islands. Special courses are provided for smaller categories like micro boats, optimists, and Sunfish. Don’t miss the return of the exciting “boto di piskado” category, highlighting traditional fishing boats.
The regatta schedule is packed with activities. Each day features different races, from small boats to larger sailboats. Onshore, the Regatta Village buzzes with excitement. Enjoy local delicacies from food trucks and browse unique creations from craft vendors.
